What is a body scan?
Preventive medical examination can be done through a body scan, consisting of five targeted MRI scans of the skull and brain, neck vessels, chest, upper abdomen, and lower abdomen.
Not all risk factors are visible on an MRI scan, therefore we also offer comprehensive examination programs with a cardiological, dermatological, and laboratory examination. All examinations are reported by medical specialists. You will receive the MRI result immediately, and your MRI images are always accessible and easy to share. This way, you will get direct insight into your health.
What can you see on a body scan?
During the scan, the skull and brain, neck vessels, chest, upper abdomen, and lower abdomen are visualized. The radiologist can see with an MRI scan, abnormalities or any damage to your organs (brain, liver, kidneys, pancreas, and spleen), bones, muscles, tendons, and nerves.
A laboratory examination includes a comprehensive examination of your blood and urine. This provides an insight into the functioning of your organs, but it can also detect risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, such as elevated cholesterol. This will give you important information about your health situation.
If you choose the body scan excellent, your skin will be extensively examined during a dermatological examination. A dermatological examination can provide clarity about the cause of persistent complaints and impurities. The dermatological examination can also be performed preventively, as not all skin damage is visible or recognizable. With a dermatological examination, signs of skin aging and (inflammatory) skin diseases can be detected and clinically diagnosed.
How much does a body scan cost?
You can choose from three different body scans: basic, plus, and excellent*. The costs depend on the number of examinations, and a body scan starts from €1229,-.
